Every camper learns stroke basics, game strategy, footwork, sportsmanship and receives an ONEC day camp tshirt. The camp is run in a safe and structured environment by responsible and mature tennis instructors.
ONEC’s day camps are a great way to get your child interested in tennis or to build on the skills they already possess. Campers are assessed on the first day and grouped according to level of play.
Even Rafael Nadal and Serena Williams don’t play tennis all the day long. At ONEC, we offer structured off-court activities that complement the tennis program every morning and afternoon. Activities include Frisbee golf, capture the flag, and other forms of active and quiet play.
Free pre- and post-camp supervision provided:
Our regular camp runs from 9:00 a.m to 4:00 p.m. Working parents who need the extra time at the beginning and end of the day can drop off at 8:30 a.m and pick up by 4:30 p.m. if needed.

Tennis Camp Philosophy
The Ottawa New Edinburgh Club introduces the game of tennis to children in a fun and exciting environment with an emphasis on fun and skill development.
The basics of tennis will all be covered. These fundamentals will be shown to the student in a progressive manner to ensure that the child develops at a pace suited to their ability. This will allow room for maximum improvement in the time allotted. The goals include an improvement of tennis skill as well as a greater understanding and enjoyment of the game.
